Job Description
RF/Microwave IC Design engineer responsible as part of a team for the design, development, and implementation of high performance, microwave integrated circuits for system-on-a-chip applications. The candidate must be comfortable with component level device performance (NF, Gain, IIP3), system level performance specifications, and issues encountered in the design/implementation of highly integrated RFIC Designs. Hands-on experience in Mixed-Signal CMOS and BiCMOS Transceiver design including function/layout partitioning, shield and low-noise techniques, and ESD strategies for high-frequency IC design would be advantageous.

Must possess strong analytical skills of transistor-level designs and be familiar with Cadence IC design tools

Responsibilities:
IC system definition
System Architecture definition
Floor planning and physical design of analog ICs
Design Layout verification
Verification and Evaluation of analog ICs

Must be highly self-motivated with good communication and teamwork skills. Must be willing to learn and accomplish tasks independently. The ability to test and trouble-shoot designs in the lab is also required.

Job Requirements
M.S EE or PhD in EE with experience in the design of RF/Microwave integrated circuits. Good understanding of fundamental RF and Microwave circuit design and analog circuit design principles is required. Experience in EDA tools (specifically ADS and Cadence environments) is essential. Experience in full-wave modeling of passive printed circuits using 3-D electromagnetic simulators, e.g. Sonnet em and Ansoft HFSS, is preferred.
