Mobile Radio Sales Associate

New Jersey

JOB SUMMARY:

Generate new product and service sales.

Demonstrates knowledge of the identified product line(s).

Uses sales support materials and staff to assist in determining customer needs and our ability to deliver our services to meet those needs.

Researches and prepares contract quote requests for customers after conferring with appropriate staff on a timely basis.

Must meet sales quota objectives on a timely basis before eligible for sales incentive program.

Incentive eligibility is determined by meeting established sales quota first and then compensation is determined by a percentage of sales profit.

Provides sales reports to supervisor based upon agreed time intervals showing prospects, actual sales, and billed sales.

Follows-up with Service component tracking all orders placed for customers and contacts them to discuss any problems related to their order in a timely fashion.

Communicates with Accounting function to resolve any issues related to customer orders.

Maintains a professional and business-like relationship with the customer and vendor locations.

Travel to and from customer locations and prospects required.

Other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE

Work related experience in sales preferably with Service or Electronics companies.

Knowledge of 2 way radio communications and paging systems.

Has experience in project estimating.

Keyboard and computer skills. Will train on internal operating system.

Attentive to detail and excellent follow-up with customers.

Excellent customer service skills.

Required for Advancement:

Satisfactory or above performance evaluations.

Meets or exceeds sales objectives.

Good customer feedback.

Satisfactorily completes all requirements outlined in Job Summary.
