Software System Engineer (Lynchburg, VA)

Job Description
Develop S/W for and lead the system design of communications products including PC based dispatch terminals and embedded data products.

Job Requirements
Candidates must have a BSEE, BSCE or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience. At least 5 years experience with C/C++ programming and object-oriented design and analysis are required. Additionally, the successful applicant will be fully familiar with programming multi-threaded applications in a real-time environment. The candidate must have experience generating system level designs. The candidate should also have experience with TCP, UDP and sockets as well as developing applications for Windows XP. Experience with model driven architecture, UML, Visual Studio, C#, data protocols (especially IP) and/or GUI design is highly desired.
